1. Who can use ProArts Connect?

ProArts Connect is an online community for its member schools: Berklee College of Music, The Boston Architectural College, The Boston Conservatory, Emerson College, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. All individuals with valid institutional email addresses can set up accounts and use the site (students, faculty, staff, and alumni)

3. What are the main functions of ProArts Connect?

ProArts Connect features four main areas:

Connect
This section provides resources for those looking for to Collaborate (film scorers and filmmakers, musicians and performance artists, set designers and interior designers....), Get Together (play sports, volunteer, explore....), and features a resource called Classroom Connect where classes being taught concurrently across multiple schools can communicate and work on group projects.

Events
Here users can post and search for Events of all types and genres. The site focuses on Music, Art, Dance, Theater, Film, Liberal Arts, Community, and Student Club events.

Marketplace
Members can use this area advertise things For Sale or search for that special Item Wanted. The Marketplace is also a forum to promote Services Offered (tutoring, instrument instruction, photography...) or seek out Services Wanted (musicians, designers, babysitters...)

Housing
The housing board provides a searchable database of both Housing Offered and Housing Wanted listings across all six participating schools. Users can search for apartments or roommates in a wide variety of ways (rent, neighborhood, amenities...)

4. What is the ProArts Consortium?

The Professional Arts Consortium (ProArts) is an association of six neighboring Boston institutions of higher education dedicated to the visual and performing arts. Its members include Berklee College of Music, the Boston Architectural College, The Boston Conservatory, Emerson College, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. These institutions came together to form ProArts to promote the interconnectivity of the arts through expanded opportunities for its members and for the community.
